Family Care First, facilitated by Save the Children, is a network of organizations working together to support children to live in a safe and nurturing family-based care. They work collaboratively, with the government, local and international NGOs, academic institutions, and UN agencies to promote and strengthen family-based care.
This is a mission that strongly resonated with the team at Mäd, and we were more than happy to be working together with Family Care First to launch a new website that would better reflect the organizational mission as well as provide key information to all stakeholders.
Our scope of work was to design a new corporate website based on existing wire-frames that were provided by the client.
The key challenge of this project was the tight timelines and also ensuring that all stakeholders coincided and agreed on the visual design of the new website as well as being able to execute their vision.
There was also a problem with designing with Webflow and transferring the code to WordPress. Which led the team to find out another solution for design to development hand-off.
Our in-house web designers developed the corporate website to the specifications that were decided on based on the pre-existing wire frames FCF had. Using Sketch for the visual design and Zeplin, for the hand off to WordPress for the development of the website, allowed our web developers to take advantage of both programs and techniques to build a truly unique and astounding website.
